The San Diego Zoo is free to all kids the month of October so we went for the day with Coach Avila's family, Beth, Violet (7) and Elaina (4). One of the favorite spots was the Polar Bears. The kids got to play in a helicoptor that once flew near the icy homes of the bears.
EJ adores Elaina and Violet. He couldn't keep his hands off Elaina! Eric and Rob got a kick out of it and like to tease him about it. He gets bashful when you bring up the girls' names. It's really sweet and we are thankful they are friends because they will be spending a lot of time at the games together this spring.
