Visitors

We were so blessed to have family and friends come to the hospital to see us and meet Baby Jack.

Uncle Andy and Aunt Kellie came on Jack's Birthday. They were so excited to meet him. Seeing them made EJ's day, especially with the monster trucks and pez candy they brought for him!

Here they are with "It's a Boy" chocolate cigars.

Eric's Aunt Lynn and Uncle Tim also came on Jack's Birthday. They were so fun to have visit and when my pain started to escalate Lynn fed me ice chips. I was grateful for her loving care.

My parents came every day. They would pick up EJ from preschool and come see us and then head home for nap and come back for dinner. They did a great job caring for EJ all week. I missed him so much but I never worried about him. It was hard for EJ to leave each night even though we assured him that he wasn't missing out on anything.

Our friend, Charity, came by one evening and got some good baby holding time. Charity works with Eric so they got to talk "shop" for a bit which was fun.

Eric's cousin, Allison and her daughter, Lila, came one after noon with Aunt Lynn. EJ adores Lila so he was thrilled when she came by. They played hide and go seek and truck race with Eric while the ladies got to visit. They brought Corner Bakery brownies that sustained me during the late night feedings!

The Avilas came to see us and the girls were so sweet to Jack. They brought Jack a little baseball rattle. It is so cute!

Eric's cousin, Lauren, and her husband, Kellen, came by one afternoon. They also brought yummy treats that satified both the savory and sweet tooth.

We are so thankful for all our visitors and all our friends who sent wishes, flowers and gifts from afar. Thank you for celebrating this wonderful miracle with us!
